The villa is on a great location, near to all the Disney attractions

The peaceful community of Highgrove is located to the west of Walt Disney World at the junction of Highway 27 and U.S.192 6 miles – 9 minutes from Disney, making it easy to get to the attractions.

A number of local amenities can be found just minutes away from the front gates including a Super Wal-Mart which is less than a minute away and has a petrol station, hairdressers and a pharmacy on site and now sells English newspapers, Cadbury’s chocolate and a range of “ British” foods and drink – e.g. Tetley tea bags and Robinsons Squash. It also has a bakery, and a hot food section selling hot chicken and pork, ideal for an evening in around the pool.

There is also a McDonalds , Burger King, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Starbuck on the way to the Wal-mart ideal if you need a snack after a day at the parks

An Irish “themed “ bar and restaurant is located just outside the gates, children are welcome, and a Gator’s Dockside Bar and Grill opposite the Wal-Mart .

 Several good restaurants have recently opened in the Rolling Oaks area which is about 2 miles from the villa and very close to Animal Kingdom and the Disney area –  There is a large large SuperTarget store with a Starbucks,  Olive Garden, a *Longhorn Steakhouse, Bahama Breeze restaurant, Flippers Pizzeria and Sweet Tomatoes salad bar.

 
Opposite Rolling Oaks is a Publix supermarket, *Miller’s Orlando Ale House, an Applebees restaurant and a Logan’s Roadhouse restaurant. Another two restaurants have opened recently on the 192 East just past Rolling Oaks, a Texas Roadhouse and a Joe’s Crab Shack Seafood restaurant.

Continuing east on the 192 is the Formosa Gardens Village shopping center. Even more restaurants are located here – Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Cracker Barrel, Dairy Queen, Giordano’s Italian, Outback Steakhouse, Red Lobster and* TGI’S Friday’s ( much cheaper than In the UK) as well as many shops.

 If you prefer a little retail therapy instead, Orlando is home to a large number of malls and retail outlets including Mall at Millenia, Osoceola Square Mall, Belz Factory Outlet, Belz Designer Outlet Center, Downtown Disney Marketplace, West Oaks Mall, Market Street at Celebration and Orlando Fashion Square Mall

There are several quality golf courses nearby which cater for every level of golfer including Orange County National, Legends, Celebration Golf Club and 6 Disney courses – Oak Trail, Osprey Ridge, Eagle Pines, Magnolia, Lake Buena Vista and The Palm – all within 5 – 15 minutes drive.

For guests wishing to travel further a field Interstate 4 S.W. via Highway 27 gives direct access to Busch Gardens, Tampa and the Gulf Coast 60-70 minutes or N.E. via US 192 to Orlando , the airports and the Space Coast.

Our 4 bedroom,3 bathroom villa is the perfect base from which to explore Orlando’s many attractions, from the fun and excitement of the many world famous theme parks to the more laid back pursuits of golfing, shopping, eating and drinking, and will provide you with a luxurious and peaceful haven in which to relax and enjoy Florida’s wonderful sunshine.

On receipt of final payment our guests will receive a booklet giving details of Restaurants, Shopping Malls, Golf Courses, Entertainment , Beaches and Natural Florida and there is also a folder of useful information, guests tips and a Florida Guide in the villa.
